In the beginning there was emotion

That’s how everything starts

Colours, sounds, taste and touch

Play second fiddle to emotion

Louder than the sunset

and brighter than silence

Emotion precedes thought and

Guides action despite our better selves

A life of meaning

A life where better emotions

Wrote the verse of a life lived

So much is down to the emotions we’ve

Allowed ourselves and been allowed

By others

So be kind today

Because you affect a life in more ways than one.
