I’m a Specialist in Palliative Medicine, working from the UK I qualified as a doctor in 2006 and have been working as a consultant for many years now but have only been sharing my thoughts on the world of palliative care since approximately 2021.

I live with my partner and our two children in the south west of England.

I provide an independent, consultant led private palliative medicine service for patients and families who want specialist medical advice without necessarily relying upon hospital services alone.

Writing short articles and poems has allowed me to both engage in my own internal monologue but more importantly has given me a forum with which I have connected with colleagues across the UK and abroad. It has been a daunting process at times as I often share things that are both very personal and in some cases aren’t being discussed widely outside of anonymous social media accounts. The opportunity to create pieces that resonate with so many others has been one of the most uplifting experiences in my life.
