The Palliative Times presents a recipe on how to learn from trial and error events.
Our guest writer is a Cognitive Gastronomist and presents us with the perfect recipe for learning from our trials and tribulations.
For this recipe you will need two well rounded trials and one large error, the large error may be exchanged for four smaller errors, (colloquially known as a cluster-f__k).
Take all of the ingredients and mix in to an unrecognisable mess then add heat of shame and frustration/guilt. If lacking any of these sources of heat then denial may be used as long as a breakthrough is available for later steps.
Leave on heat and reflect whilst sitting on an uncomfortable surface. This may take between 30 minutes and one year, so patience is required. For those of a scientific inclination an epiphany may be used to catalyse the recipe but unfortunately as these are not available to purchase they will only be available if found on the back of the cupboard.
When the mess appears too dense to pierce you can place it wherever you will forget it. The mess will remind you of its presence every third night at about 2 am.
Now you may leave the house and experience life. When you next visit the mess you will find it has transformed in to a solution and you will wonder why it was ever so hard.
Best served with a cup of tea made to taste and a deep sense of peace.
